The concepts and principles presented will emphasize current and innovative
approaches to the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic ankle and foot injuries.
In revisiting foot and ankle pathologies, we are encouraging our colleagues to recognize when signs and symptoms
tell us that it is not just an ordinary ankle sprain.
Participants of the seminar will be able to establish a definite course of action in terms of the examination,
evaluation, and management when presented with a difficult foot and ankle condition.
We also hope to instill the integration of the functional anatomy of the ankle and foot, its role in the gait pattern, the principles and practice of orthotic
prescription, and manual therapy techniques in designing and implementing a rehabilitation program.
